Welcome! I'm Mike Goodman, a business transformation and leader development specialist who works with organisations at times of significant change – when old approaches stop working, when growth requires new capacity and skills, when strategic clarity becomes essential.
Drawing on a lifetime of business practice and a decade of academic investigation into leader development, combined with long-held interests in psychology and study of diverse indigenous cultures, I've discovered core technologies that guide individuals and groups to break through limitations and achieve what may have seemed impossible.
At the heart of what I bring is Advanced Awareness - a learnable capacity to perceive what's actually happening beneath surface symptoms. This includes self-awareness (your patterns and blind spots), people awareness (relational dynamics and motivations), organisational awareness (the gap between what's claimed and what's real), and strategic awareness (opportunities and risks before they're obvious). When leaders develop these capacities, clarity, confidence, and better decisions follow naturally.
Primarily serving the Central Coast, Newcastle and Canberra, I help leaders navigate complexity and change.
